About David Mead Log Cabin – Bicentennial Park

A replica of founder David Mead’s log cabin was erected in Bicentennial Park situated along the banks of French Creek during Meadville’s bicentennial celebration in 1988. The cabin serves as a reminder of our heritage and is used as an educational resource for school tours and the general public.
